Classe & Bultknäckarna’s debut EP, Straight OUTTA Västerås, collects tracks inspired by the city of Västerås and its car culture, blending rock’n’roll, rockabilly, blues, and Americana. Each track is a self-contained musical scene, combining character-driven storytelling with cinematic instrumentation and subtle ambient details.
Västerås Nights – A playful rockabilly-inspired track depicting neon-lit summer evenings, leather jackets, and flirtatious encounters. Features twangy guitars, upright bass, soft organ lines, and ambient sounds like laughter and glasses clinking.
Summer Meet Anthem – Celebrates Västerås’ classic car gatherings with roaring engines, slap bass, driving rhythms, and crowd sounds, reflecting the energy and camaraderie of the raggare culture.
Cruisin’ V8 – A nostalgic, Chuck Berry-influenced track about cruising in vintage cars. Combines slide guitar, rockabilly riffs, boogie-woogie piano, and detailed sound effects to evoke the feeling of gliding down the boulevard in a polished V8.
