Dirge For Tyrants is my conceptual music project, channeling the raw intensity of post-hardcore and political punk. I explore the sharp edges of sound, combining angular guitars, gritty basslines, and dynamic, driving drums to create a sonic landscape that is both aggressive and emotionally resonant.
Through this project, I confront themes of betrayal, injustice, and the failures of authority, delivering tracks that are uncompromising, thought-provoking, and charged with defiance. The vocals move between piercing clarity and raw shouts, cutting through layers of distortion to evoke both anger and reflection.
My latest single, “Ballots and Bayonets,” pushes these ideas further — exposing politics as conflict, language as a weapon, and power as something that always leaves damage behind.
Dirge For Tyrants is more than just music to me; it is a statement and a space for confrontation and critique. Each composition acts as a lens to examine societal tension and personal struggle, blending intensity and nuance to communicate messages that reach beyond the sound itself. This project exists as a universe where music is a tool for expression, resistance, and reflection.
