Halloween is almost here, and Kitty May is ready to take the night somewhere a little darker.
On October 20, Kitty May releases her new single “Halloween After Dark” — a sensual rockabilly story about attraction, temptation and what can happen when two strangers decide to stop pretending they’re not interested in each other.
The night begins at a crowded Halloween party.
She arrives dressed as a nurse. Across the room, a man dressed as the devil catches her eye. Neither looks away.
A glance becomes a conversation without words. A little closer. A touch of the hand. A whispered invitation.
And suddenly, the rest of the party doesn’t matter anymore.
“Everybody’s wearing a disguise
But I can see it in your eyes”
The song plays with the classic Halloween imagery of nurses, devils and disguises, but underneath the costumes is something much more familiar: two people feeling an instant attraction and deciding to see where it takes them.
Eventually, they leave the party together.

With its rockabilly groove, bluesy edge and late-night atmosphere, “Halloween After Dark” is made for dark rooms, neon lights and the hours when the party is supposed to be winding down — but isn’t.
